Lego lunch box

As soon as I saw this I decided I’m going to start packing my lunch everyday. If everyone at the office has one you can build your own lego cubicle and desk or even block the door to your boss’ office, imagine that!

It measures 12.5cm x 12.5cm x 7.5cm and comes in blue, pink and black. Sadly the lego burger is not included.

Treeson by Bubi Au Yeung

This is Treeson, one of the many projects by HK based illustrator Bubi Au Yeung. She started drawing Treeson in 2005 as the main character of her short illustrated stories ‘Treeson & Ren’. Somewhat sad and twisted the stories will have you teary eyed with a big smile on your face at the end. Or maybe it’s just me. I’m definitely not the only one to have fallen for Treeson, though, as the first limited edition of the vinyl toy is already sold out.

If you want to know about the stem branching out from his chest and read the ‘Broken heart stories’ check out the site.

Ginagirls

I love Ginagirls! I haven’t been so excited about a doll/toy in a very long time. Gina Garan and christina/orriettacat of Jam Fancy joined efforts to create these gogo girls. They remind me of the dolls my nan used to make for us out of felt and scraps (I never owned a Barbie in my whole life, heh). Oh, memories. Nico and Tuesday are my favourite, being me I couldn’t help myself and I had to email Gina about it. Apparently, since they’re only going to be released in Asia there’s a waiting list plus they’re so limited (500 each!) it might be hard getting one. *fingers crossed*
